Meningkatnya jumlah core prosesor pun memberikan efek lain pada meningkatnya jumlah cache prosesor dari 3 MB ke 6 MB pada lini Core i5. Seperti prosesor Intel U Series generasi sebelumnya, rating TDP Thermal Design Power seluruh varian prosesor Core i 8th Gen U Series tetap dipertahankan di angka 15 Watt. Tentu langkah tersebut memiliki konsekuensi terlebih jumlah core prosesor meningkat dari dua ke empat. Pada Core i 8th Gen U Series, nilai base clock speed dipatok lebih rendah dibandingkan Core i 7th Gen U Series. Walaupun begitu nilai Turbo Boost clock speed tetap dipertahankan di tingkat yang sama atau lebih tinggi. Core i5 8250U sendiri memiliki nilai base clock speed 1,6 GHz dan dapat naik lebih tinggi hingga 3,4 GHz berkat teknologi Turbo Boost di skenario komputasi single core. Acer memadukan prosesor Core i5 8250U dengan motherboard soket FCBGA1356 berbasiskan chipset Intel Kaby Lake-U + iHDCP Premium PCH. Acer Aspire E5-476G dilengkapi memori/RAM tipe DDR4 1,2 Volt dengan kapasitas 4 GB pada kecepatan 2400 MHz. GeForce MX150 sendiri diotaki GPU GP108 dengan basis arsitektur Pascal seperti varian GeForce GTX 10 Series lainnya. GPU memiliki nilai base clock 1469 MHz dan dapat naik lebih tinggi lagi hingga 1532 MHz berkat teknologi GPU Boost Pengujian kami di Acer Aspire E5-476G sendiri mencatatkan nilai clock GPU Boost dapat mencapai angka 1670 MHz. GPU GP108 tersebut dipadukan dengan VRAM tipe GDDR5 di kecepatan 6008 MHz melalui memory bus 64-bit. Sementara Intel UHD Graphics 620 masih berbasiskan arsitektur arsitektur GPU Processor Graphics Gen 9 LP Generation 9 Low Power, sama seperti HD Graphics 620.
